Before beginning an exercise program it’s a good idea to review your medical history and, if necessary, get a doctor’s OK to exercise (or at least understand your exercise limitations). At Morgan’s Wellness center one of the first things we do is to obtain this history and incorporate it into a fitness routine that is just right for you.
We estimate your body composition and body fat in order to determine your nutritional needs and exercise regimen.
Cardiovascular endurance testing measures how efficiently the heart and lungs work together to supply oxygen and energy to the body during physical activity. This information helps to plan your workout routines and schedule.
Test for muscle endurance and strength measure how a muscle responds to specific activities and helps determine recommended levels for fitness. Muscle strength testing measures the maximal amount of force a muscle group can exert at one time, and muscular endurance testing measures the length of time a muscle group can contract before it fatigues.
